Nicole is a fourth year Social Work student from Carleton University; she will be completing a four-month practicum from September to December with CPJ and will be working alongside Joe Gunn on ecological issues from a social work point of view. Nicole has a passion for advocacy within the faith-based community! She co-facilitated a push for awareness of the damage caused by bottled water in developing countries and was behind the proposal for eliminating bottled water within the United Church at the United Church of Canada’s London Conference.
Nicole also has a Child and Youth Worker Diploma from Humber College in Toronto, which reflects her other passion for working with disadvantaged children and adolescents.
Nicole is originally from Sarnia, Ontario, where she is a long-standing member of Grace United Church.
