No one is exempt
Each of us is responsible for the state of rights, freedom and justice on this planet. No one is exempt. For me, CPJ helps us live up to that responsibility.
CPJ is up to this challenge, especially with its work on removing barriers for refugees who just want to get on with their lives and make their contribution to Canada. CPJ’s Welcome the Stranger initiative is helping to engage many Canadians to think deeply about the whole range of refugee issues. Our voices, our power, can and will overcome in justice and deliver a world in which the glorious promise of documents like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights become reality, for all people at all times.
The renewal, restructuring, and repositioning made possible by the Public Justice: Front + Centre campaign will strengthen CPJ’s efforts to meet the challenge in the years to come.
