Poverty Reduction Strategy Workshops
How can we solve poverty in Canada? What actions can faith communities take to fight poverty? Join CPJ for an engaging dialogue on poverty and learn about a federal poverty reduction strategy for Canada.
Poverty undermines the right of every person to live with dignity, to participate in society and to meet basic needs. It is therefore our collective responsibility to respond to the problem of poverty as part of the biblical call to do justice. Come and hear CPJ’s workshop on poverty reduction advocacy and engage in meaningful discussion of ways to combat poverty.
CPJ is taking the poverty reduction strategy campaign on the road in May and doing workshops across cities in Canada. These cities include Ottawa, Halifax, London, Winnipeg and Edmonton. Look for the location closest to you and join us in our workshops!
