Recognizing the federal role in ending poverty

October 17 is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. CPJ and our partners on Dignity for All: the campaign for a poverty-free Canada will be organizing events in Ottawa to raise awareness about poverty in Canada, emphasize the positive role the federal government has to play in bringing about change, and asking parliamentarians to identify how they can work together to make a difference.
