Become a CPJ member

CPJ membership is $50 per year, $25 for low income, and $10 for students. All donations to CPJ, including membership, are fully charitable. Membership includes a subscription to our quarterly newsletter, the Catalyst, the chance to vote at our Annual General Meeting, and the opportunity to engage in a dialogue about CPJ’s work. Benefits of membership

As part of our growing national membership, you have the opportunity to be directly informed about and involved in public justice issues. This includes receiving the Catalyst, our award-winning newsletter that explores public justice issues in depth, four times each year. You can also be kept up-to-date on CPJ’s work through Ola!, our monthly electronic newsletter. If you haven’t signed up for Ola! already, send your email address to us at cpj@cpj.ca or sign up directly on our website.

Being a member also gives you access to CPJ’s wealth of resources. Our website contains papers written by our senior policy analysts outlining our strong, values-based alternatives. Weekly web features cover a range of issues, from taxes to the environment to poverty reduction strategies, and we encourage your feedback and responses to these issues.

But our work – and your involvement – does not stop there. We engage people, not just policy, by encouraging our members to take part in campaigns, to get involved on our board or on committees, and to continue the dialogue in local communities. As a member, you have the opportunity to contact our staff at any time to ask questions, seek advice, or tell us your concerns. You can also vote at our Annual General Meeting in person, by mail or by proxy.

As a CPJ member, you have joined others in a community of Christians devoted to fulfilling God’s call to love our neighbour. We hope that as you spend time with us and learn how we apply our Christian faith to current public issues, you will be inspired to remain with us for years to come.
